SCARPIA H. tired when he struck bad going and came again in the stretch. THIRTY SEVEN was away poorly, but ran a bad race. BIG FELLOW showed the most early speed and held on well to the end under a weak rider. BROWNIE McDAWELL had no mishaps and was done after going three-quarters. KENTUCKY BOY was badly outrun for the first three-quarters, but finished fast. GREEN GRASS quit after racing well to the homestretch.
