VICTORY FOR HOT SPRINGS RACING Drastic Bill Aimed at Sport in Southern Spa Killed in Arkansas Senate. NEW ORLEANS, La., January 28. Advices early this afternoon from Little Rock, Ark., announced that the Senate, at its session this morning, promptly put a quietus on1 the drastic Doyle bill, which lias for its aim the suppression of racing within a three-mile limit of a church or school in the state of Arkansas. The bill was giving some of the horsemen here considerable concern and news that it had been killed in the Senate was hailed -with joy by the big racing gathering at the Fair Grounds this afternoon.
