r n o t i: S a p I f a NEW HAMPSHIRE BUFFALO FOR WEST G. A. Smith, game commissioner of Oklahoma, has recently purchased for Jiis state one buffalo bull anil nine cows from the Blue Mountain Forest Reserve of Austin" Corbin at Meriden, New Hampshire, and these animals have been placed In the state game preserves known as Medicine Park and Clioteau Springs. The state already possessed seven cows and one bull, which were distributed among the two preserves above-mentioned and the Oklahoma City Park. The federal government has in Oklahoma on its forest preserve a herd of buffalo numbering probably more thau one huudred.
