LATEST NEWS FROM BREEDING FARMS LEXINGTON, Ky., February 8. W. C. Tliraves a few days ago purchased from A. L. Aste the three-year-old filly His Sister, by Uncle Rally-lneua, by Adam. The imported stallion Flotsam has been sent to John S. Wiggins military stock farm to make the season for Grant Hugh Rrowue. At Glen Helen Stud Joseph Marrones Water-dale has a bay colt by Glen Cairn, and Samuel L. Littles Etta. Russell has a bay or brown colt by Rryn Mawr. T. O. McDowell this week sent his string of ten racers to the Kentucky Association track from Ashland Farm. The string, which is the smallest In number he has had for several years, comprises Percious, American Eagle, Plum, St. Augustine, Loyalist, Trooper, Honor Man and three two-year-olds bv The Manager, they being a chestnut colt, dam Ellen-a-Dale; chestnut colt, dam Little Daughter, and bay filly, dam Alanarka. Olive Wood remains at Ashland, but may be trained again.
