John Whalen arrived here this morning from New York to spend five or six days inspecting racing material at the Kentucky Association track and at the various farms with a view to making inn-chases for himself and others. James MacManus Bosslare has a brown colt bv JSelloc. and Joseph Marrones Singling a chestnut filly by Gleucairn at John S. Barbees Glen Helen Stud. Will Perkins arrived here today from New Orleans with seven horses. The remainder of Ids stable Will be shipped here after the close of racing at the Fair Grounds.
