LIVERPOOL SPRING CUP CHANGE One of .the handicaps which failed to fill at the first time of asking was the LiverKol Spring up, and it has been reopened to close under altered conditions, and although March raav be a Mtle early for the purpose, I think the experiment to be tried is a wise one. To confine the entry to three-year-olds ought to succeed, having regard to the response which lias been accorded to the Usher up at Sandowu. The value of the race remains the same, but the distance has been reduced to one mile, and there should be no difficulty in securing the twenty entries stipulated for.
