JOCKEY F. ROBINSONS 1918 RECORD Detailed Report of His Saddle Work Over the Various Tracks at Which He Rode. Jockey Frank Robinson, the leading American rider of 1918, enjoyed his greatest success last year at the Fair Grounds track, where he rode forty winners out of one hundred and seventv-seven mounts. At Jeffeson Park he rode thirty-two win-uers out of one hundred and twenty-two mounts for the excellent average of .120. In fact, Robinsons average at the various tracks he rode, and he accepted mounts at twelve different courses during a busy year, was uniformly good. His riding was confined principally to the east and south, his only Kentucky engagements being at Latonia. where lie won one of the two mounts he had at the Kenton County track. Robinsons best work in the east was accomplished at Saratoga and Empire City. The following tabulation gives in detail Robinsons record for the year at each track over which he rode, and bears out the oft-repeated assertion that, he is one of the foremost of our present-day riders: Track.
