ELEVEN HORSES IN J S WARDS STABLE LOUISVILLE Ky March 20 John S Ward who formerly owned and trained Franklin Dodge Solar Star and other good horses and who saddled Escoba in last years Kentucky Derby for Kenneth D Alexander has no horses of his own in training this spring Boniface and other horses that carried the Ward colors in Kentucky last summer were taken east and sold by Mr Ward and he has not replaced them with any new stock This does not mean that he bus abandoned his turf activities however He is still training a number of horses for other owners including J W Parrish John H Morris and Kenneth D Alexander AlexanderAll All told Mr Ward has in training at Douglas Park eleven horses the property of various owners Midway and Bulse belonging to Mr Parrish and which were wintered at Hot Springs have recently reached here and have been taken in hand by Mr Ward Besides these Mr Ward is training a couple of fouryearolds for J M Morris and eight two yearolds the property of Messrs Parrish and Alexander J11C most fancied one of the youngsters is a colt by Fair Play Starry Xlght There are also a couple of grand looking colts by Plaudit
