PLAN WEIGHTFORAGE RACE The Jockey Club and Westchester Association to Endow It Will Be Run at Belmont Park in inthe the Fall Maryland Officials OfficialsAre Are Approved NEW YORK N Y March 28 At a meeting of the stewards of the Jockey Club held at the office of the club yesterday afternoon there were present Major August Belmont P K Sturgis II K Knapp Andrew Miller and John Sanford On motion duly seconded the Jpcke Club joined the Westchester Racing Association in giving a weiglitforage race with 5000 added for threeyearolds and over at a mile and a half to be run at the autumn meeting of the Westchester Racing Association and a com ¬ mittee was appointe to confer with the West Chester Racing Association as to permanently con ¬ tinuing this stake Tentative conditions for the race were submitted The race is to be at one mile and a half for threeyearolds and over by subscription of 100 for each horse with 200 additional to start 5000 is to be added 2500 of which is subscribed by the Jockey Club and 2500 by the Westchester Racing Association of which 1000 will go to the owner or the second horse and 500 to the third thirdGuy Guy Burns who has not ridden in some years has made application for a jockey license and is now employed by B V Boyle who has about six horses in training the property of different owners The ownersThe applications of J B Dunn and B Travers for trainers licenses were tabled tabledThere There will be a meeting of the licensing com ¬ mittee on April 3 when there will be a further consideration of the aiiplicatious bCfiJTohnwr ftjiS quests which may come before it itThe The application of the United Hunts Racing As ¬ sociation to change its dates from May 17 to 21 to June 14 to 21 was granted grantedThe The officials for the Maryland tracks were ap ¬ proved while various jockeys and trainers licenses were granted as recommended bv the license com ¬ mittee
