ACCOMMODATIONS FOR DERBY CROWD LOUISVILLE Ky May 8 Three thousand rooms will be placed at the disposal of the crowd that will come to Louisville for the Kentucky Derby The Wnr Camp Community Service undertook this task at the request of the Kentucky Jockey Club when it was seen that the local hotels would be unhle to accommodate the visitors visitorsGeorge George Cornet director of the activities of the War Camp Community Service will erect a cot ¬ tage in Lincoln Park as headquarters for the room and information bureau and persons desiring rooms will be directed by those in charge of the bureau All of these rooms have been investigated as to desirability and surroundings Representatives of the War Camp Community Service will be stationed at the various railroad depots to cooperate in this work and the hotels will display signs directing the overflow to the Lincoln Park office In this way it is believed visitors will be handled more effectively than ever before
