HIGH CLASS BROOD MARE DIES ABROAD ABROADFrizette Frizette Daughter of Hamburg aridpamof Win ¬ ners in France and the United States The death in France of Mrs II B Duryeas brood mare Frizette by Hamburg Ondulee is rtr ported She died after foaling a colt by Prince Palatine which also died Being only fourteen years old her death was untimely She was a capital racer winning the Rosedale Stakes at Ja ¬ maica and the Laureate Stakes at Belinont Pirk for the late James R Kcene when a twoyearold in 1907 For J A Wernberg she won many purse races in 1908 in which year she was bought lu ¬ ll B Duryea and sent to France for stud service As a rule Hamburg brood mares are of the best order Frizette was no exception Her first foal was tlie capital Tace mare Banshee by Irish Lad which won the French One Thousand of 1913 Her second was the good colt Frizzle by the great French longdistance horse Binou Ho raced suc ¬ cessfully won over 28000 and is Jiow in stud service in Kentucky Mary Maud which raced so well last fall and the three year old fillr Frizeur art others of her produce which havcbepn brought to this country probably to become good brood mares in their turn Why Frizette proved such a good brood mare can be deduced from tilts following interesting pedigree f Hindoo V Vanover Virgil anover iOurbpn F Florence Belle B BFellow E Fellow idr f craft A Reel Mannie A Gray J Enquirer Lizsie G f Galopin Vedette St Simon J Flying Duches I St Angela King Tom Adeline Doiiciister Roiige Ro e Shotover Hpniiit Stray Shot
