ARMY RACE AT CHURCHILL DOWNS LOCISVILLK Ky May 19 An army race in which army officers will ride will occupy a place on the card at Churchill Downs next Thursday Eight races will be run that day the army race being inserted as the third thirdA A 5200 loving cup will be presented to the rider of the winner and an 800 purse will be hung up for the horsemen The event will be a claim ¬ ing affair at one mile and mounts will be drawn Wednesday morning The minimum weight will be 155 pounds and the officers will be allowed to ride at catchweights Great interest lias been shown in the race by officers at Camp Zachary Taylor the event having been suggested by Lieut Col John A Robenson
