LATONIA CLUBHOUSE MEMBERSHIP MEMBERSHIPKentucky Kentucky Jockey Club Plans Distinctive Social Features for the Covington Track CINCINNATI O May 19 The Kentucky Jockey Club plans to put the membership on the highest possible scale at Latonia The officers of the new organization intend to lift the clubhouse affairs out of the ordinary racing scheme and to this end the elite of Cincinnati and surrounding cities have received invitations to become members of this new organization organizationFrancis Francis Douglas favorably known in Kentucky social affairs has been put in charge of the club ¬ house and he intends to provide entertainment other than the mere watching or horse races The cuisine in the clubhouse will be improved and will be on n par with any country club in this vicinity Tlie invitations received the last few clays read You are invited to become a member of the club at Latonia Membership will be limited in number and confined to those to whom invitations are ex ¬ tended The annual dues are 55 including l war tax of 5 payable in advance Each member will receive member badges and badges admitting two ladies granting to the holders respectively all privi ¬ leges during the summer and autumn race meetings of 1919 Privileges include admission to the grounds grandstand and clubhouse clubhouseMutual Mutual machines will be installed in the club house and members will not have to go to the regular betting ring to place their wagers
