ARION WINS GREAT JUBILEE HANDICAP lord Jerseys Colt First in One of the Richest Eng ¬ lish Spring Races One of the great handicaps of the English flat racing spring season the Kempton Park Great Jubilee Handicap of 15000 at a mile and a quarter was run at Hurst Park near London last Saturday and was won by Lord Jerseys fouryearold chestnut colt Arion by Valens Post Horn carrying eightyseven pounds F Har ¬ dys fouryearold brown gelding Not Much by Primer Pop the Question 109 pounds was second and Lord Glanelys fiveyearold bay horse Grand Fleet by Bachelors Double Dark Dinah 110 pounds was third In his last previous race Arion finished second to Royal Bucks in the City and Suburban Handicap at Epsom April 30 He wan 10 to 1 in the Great Jubilee while it was 100 to S against Not Much and 100 to i against Grand Fleet The race was run at Hurst Park because the Kempton track is in disorder consequent to its occupancy by the government as a military camp
