LATONIA CHAMPIONSHIP STAKES OF 1921 1921LOUISVILLE LOUISVILLE Ky May 21 The future i oliiy of tlie Kentucky Jockey Club was plainly indicated here General manager M 1 Winn today announced the third Latonia Championship Stakes 150H added for threeyearolds foals of 1918 to be run in tlie autumn of 1021 one and tlirniqnnrtcr miles and the first Kentucky Jockey Club Stakes 10000 added for twoyearOlds foals of 1915 to be run in tlie autumn of 1920 one mile Both stakes are to close Friday June 20 The conditions of both stakes were written by The Thoroughbred Horse Association and their adoption the former three years ago and the latter this spring is a compliment to that organization which is promoting races at longer distances President McDowell and the directors of The Thoroughbred Horse As ¬ sociation urge all owners of yearlings to enter for these events The subscription to the Latonia Championship Stakes is 15 and to the Kentucky Jockey Club Stakes 10 payable June 20 In tin threeyearold race colts and geldings carry 120 pounds and fillies 121 pounds in the twoyearold race colts and geldings 122 pounds and fillies 119 pounds There are four moneys in each stake and something for the nominators of the money winners It is estimated that the Latonia Championship Stakes will be wortb 50000 and ie otlicr 30000
