BRANNON YEARLINGS TO LOUISVILLE Will Be Broken at Churchill Downs H T Wilson Yearling to Be Shipped to Saratoga LEXINGTON Ky July 10 Tlie yearlings be ¬ longing to B J Brannon seven in number were today shipped to Louisville to be broken at Clmrcliill Downs The latest addition to the Brannon juve ¬ nile string is the chestnut filly by Handsel Santa Lucia which he bought yesterday from Tliomas B Jones JonesMajor Major Thomas C McDowell president of the Thoroughbred Horse Association has left for New York to attend a meeting on Friday relative to the purchase of Havre de Grace track He will be joined in the meeting by J O Keene who is now on his way to New York YorkHugh Hugh Garth son of William Cart has arrived here from the east to ship to the Garth farm at Charlottcsville Va the stallion Malntenant by Malntenon Martha Gorman which made i1 the season at Harry Morrisseys Kempland Farm It is not known here whether or not Garth has purchased Maintenant from Joseph E Widener WidenerThomas Thomas Healey who has been at Kirklcvington Farm for the past two days selecting the twelve yearlings to be broken and trained for R T Wil ¬ son left for New York last evening The yearlings will be shipped to Saratoga as soon as a car can be obtained The five to be left at the farm will be sold in September Trainer Charles II Hughes is still waiting for a car in which to ship from Paris the second load of James W McClellarids yearlings to be broken at Saratoga John B McLaughlin supervisor of pariinuttiels returned from Latonia yesterday and went to u camp on the Kentucky River to remain u month
