RACING COMMISSION HOLDS MEETING Leaves Matter of Purso Distribution at Xouisvillo and Latonia to Chairman J. N. Camden. LEXINGTON, Ky., September 13. The State Racing Commission, all members present and voting, at its meeting this morning adopted iinaiii-mou.fly the "following resolution: "Resolved, that the matter of regulation of the amount of added money to purses to be given at Latonia and I-ouisville this coming fall be left entirely witli the chairman of this commission." The chairman of the commission is Johnson N. Camden, who also is president of the Kentucky Jockey Club. At the conclusion of the meeting chairman Camden said: "I shall require a little time for consideration, after which my decision will be announced." The meeting was attended by Messrs. Thomas C. McDowell. Arthur B. Hancock. Charles II. Rerry-man. Jerome IB. Respess, James C. Stone and Thos. IB. Cromwell, representing the Thoroughbred Horse Association. Major McDowell, as spokesman for the horsemen, said: "Whatever may be Senator Camdens decision it will be accepted by the horsemen as final and as for the lest interests of the turf."
