Won driving; second and third the same. MARTHA LUCKETT outran the others from the start and set a fast pace, but had to be ridden out to outstay ENCRINITE. The latter ran well and finished gamely under punishment. MOCK ORANGE closed a big gap and finished with a rush. PUNCTUAL tired. IRELAND was as good as left. ANNETTE TELLER closed a big gap in the last quarter. . BETTIE BLUFF rushed into an easy lead on the first turn and set a good pace to the stretch turn, from where for- a time she was under a hard drive to outstay BROOM PEDDLER. The latter was sharply cut off at the three-eighths post and was taken to the outside, but finished tiring. QUEEN OF THE SEA tired in the stretch after racing into the lead.
