AAon easily; second and third driving. PURDEY raced into the lead soon after the start and passed M. BERT THURMAN, their had to be ridden hard in the fctrandtch, but won easing up. CIRCULATE droiiped far back in the early running, but came with a rush through the stretch. JOHN JR. ran well, but tired near the end. BILLI11 B. quit after going five-eighths. M. BERT THURMAN set the early pace and showed much speed for a hair mile. GENERAL GLENN, much the best, was away poorly and had to race wide for the entire way, but finished with a rush after closing an immense gap. SHOOT AAAAY ran well, but tired at the end. BUBBLES ran a good race. UARRIGANS HEIR was always outrun. MUG-IAAN tired. LIEUTENANT LESTER quit in the last quarter. WATER WILLOW showed much speed throughout and finished close up. CANDLE LIGHT, raced for-wardly. BBOWNIE McDAWELL may have been best, but had to race wide and suffered from interference.
