9 PROMISING YEARLING COLT IS DEAD LEXINGTON, Ky.. October 8. The yearling brown colt by Marathon, dam 111 Will, by Sir Dixon, owned by A. J. Gorey of Covington, and trained by T. L. Pierce, died Monday at the Kentucky Jockey Club track, the result of intestinal trouble. The colt was insured for ,000 and was considered a good racing prospect.
