LIMERICK LASS raced well, but tired and just lasted long enough to outstay RUNNYVEN. The latter finished gamely under a good ride. FLYING WELSHMAN quit after leading to the last eighth. PADUA moved up with a rush at the sixteenth post, where she got on even terms with the leaders, but tired at the end. DIONE stumbled when the barrier was sprung.
