FALL MEETING AT LATONIA A SUCCESS LATONIA, Ky., October 14. The crowd that witnessed the running of the Latonia Championship Stakes at Latonia Saturday was almost as large as the Kentucky Derby day attendance. Manager Winn was highly elated and remarked: "The holding of the races at Latonia before going to Louisville has been one of the important factors in making this meeting a success, and I predict that the fall meeting at Louisville, while it only runs nine days, will be bigger and better than we have ever had at that point. The change fits in nicely, and I believe it will work wonders for both tracks."
