HAVANA STAKE PROGRAM ANNOUNCED Thirteen Added Money Features Provided, with Two 0,000 Events as the Toplincrs. The announcement of the program of stake races for the Havana meeting of 1919-20" directs thought to the not far away approach of winter racing. 80 far as Havana racing is concerned inspection jf the advertisement of the Cuba-American Jockey Club in this issue of Daily Racing Form will disclose radical and important advancements over anything ever attempted there before in a racing way. For one thing guaranteed value stakes are done away with, and the thirteen now proffered for entries are liberally endowed with added money. For another, two of the stake races have 0,000 added, .they being the Cuban Derby, for three-year-olds of 1920 and the Grand National Handicap, for three-year-olds and over, both races being at 1 mile and an eighth. These will give a needed lignity to the meeting and probably be the most valuable races of 1920 prior to the running of the Kentucky Derby. The other races offered are wortli any owners winning, season of decision considered. Entries close at midnight of Monday, November 3, and the list of stakes now ready for the consideration - and patronage of owners is the following: Grand National Handicap, 0,000 added; one mile and a eighth.
