GOOD HORSES FOR NEW ORLEANS Jack Hare Jr., Midnight Sun, Dominant and Others to Bo Campaigned During Winter Meetings. NEW ORLEANS, La., October 31. Good horses will be plentiful icre,jiextwinter. In fact.-one of the l:sroWmentsuf:i6! will-race over the Jefferson Park and Fair Grounds tracks. Applications which have poured into the offices of the Business Mens Racing Association indicate the big task is not to get the best stable to come, but to keep the mediocre ones from coming. Thats the biggest question right now. Chief among tho racers for which stable room has been asked is W. E. Applegates crack colt Jack Hare Jr., which is coming in charge of trainer V ,:. crnss, who also is bringing down Napan, Amenta and others. O. Hawk will bring hero Ilich Cost, Game Cock, Reveler, Jago and ten others. The consignment of H. P. Whitney horses that is coming here is said to include Dominant, Wendy. Furbelow, Fun. Grand Slam, Black Watch, Rowes i.ml and twelve yearlings. The speedy Midnight Sun is another good racer that will be seen here during the winter, the ,7- V Skinker gelding being in charge of trainer W . J. Burttschell. Pat Dunne has made application for stable room for Under lire, Omond, Lorena Moss, General Glenn. Joe Stahr, Rookery and Harry Burgoyne. A. newcomer will.be John 0., in the stable of Otto Rogers, who also is coining with Texas Special and five others. The redoubtable mud runner, Pickwick, will be in the stable which W. O. Clancy already has started on its way to New Orleans. It includes I lckwick. John Leonards Assume, Ting-a-Ling Paddy Dear, Minute Man and several others. War Mask will join the string as soon as he fills his Maryland engagements. Among other highly rated thoroughbreds coming Prince of Como. Major Parke and sixteen others belonging to Jefferson Livingston and coming in charge of trainer John McCormick. American Ace, Frivolity and fifteen others belonging to Edward Ccbrian and John Lowe coming in Lowes charge. George Starr, Westwood, Night Wind, Troilus. A lse Man and three others coming in charge of Harry Perkins. Drummond. Woodstone and six others being h brought by AV. Shea. Lucky It., Korbly and Jim Ilcffering coming in Milo Shields string. Etruscan, Franklin and Douglass S.; E. G. Vi-vell. Huckboard, Kimpalong, Daddys Choice, Dancing Carnival and sixteen others; G. R. lirysou.
