R c e 1 1 1 1 $ J 1 r. 1 1 1 CURRENT NOTES OF THE TURF The" Kentucky shipment for Cuba will probably be got under way y special train today, and the consignment will comprise the best horses that has ever left Kentucky to engage in the Cuban racing. W. V. Caseys filly Bright Gold has had a strenuous campaign for a two-year-old, starting in thirty-one races, of which she won seven, finished second five times and third seven times. Bright Gold is now at New Orleans, where she will be raced - during the winter meetings in the Crescent City. The well-known New Zealand ..race horse Est-land, by Finland Warscare, which won the Australian Jockey Club Randwick Plate this year, and was shortly afterward sold , to A P. Wade dot 5,000, broke his neck oh September 10. He was galloping when he fell and heavily struck the inner fence. Lord Glanelys 7,500 colt by Swynford Blue Tit, by Wildfowler- has two half-brothers : in this country that are but ordinary. Wigstone, a colt, 4, by Bayardo Blue Tit, is in Mr. W. R. Coes establishment, and Blue Devil, a gelding, 3, by Tre-dennis Blue Tit, is in Jim Arthurs stable. Both have yet to win. -- ;
