ENGLANDS 0,000 YEARLING LIST Sixty Young Thoroughbreds Sold for That Sum or More This Season. In some of the English sales reported by wire and correspondence by Daily Racing Form in the early wake of their occurrence the real purchasers were often not given, agents appearing in the lists. The English sales of the season have been remarkable. During it sixty yearlings have found purchasers at over 10,000 each. Of their sires The Tetrarch is leader. Ten of his get fetched 29,000, with the remarkable average of 2,900 each. Six by Swyn-ford sold for 33,025, an average of 2,171, one bringing the worlds record price of 7,500. Prince lalatine is third best with five sold for a total of 3,150, or an average of 4,030; four by Bayardo sold for 2,250, or anjiverage of 3,050, while the dead Orby has six this credit for a total of 1,350, averaging 1,830. No fewer than seventeen other stallions can claim an average of ,000 or over. So far this year 120 yearlings have been sold for ,000 or more each. Half have - brought double that figure.
