WOODTRAP was badly messed about and was coming again at the end. CLEAN GONE closed a big gap. MIDNIGHT SUN quit and ran a bad race. WOOD VIOLET tired and quit badly. The latteV raced in close pursuit of the leaders for five-eighths, then quit as if short. CHARLIE LEY-DECKER ran a good half, then also quit.
