INVESTIGATING RACE COURSE PROFITS LONDON, England. November ;. Hecentiy the Hace Course Association. Limited, petitioned the Jockey Club to cancel the rule which limits all meetings est.ibNhd after a certain date to a ten per cent dividend. Altered money values and debts incurred during the war were urged in support of the petition. The stewards have refused to cancel the ruie, but they are permitting any meetings which can do so to pay back dividends or bonuses in lieu thereof out of this years profits, provided such payments do not exceed ten per cent in any one year. A special committee is investigating "the matVr of race course profits, and the whole question f the Jockey Clubs control over race, course receipts will be coiisideied ill the near flltiuv. lirge profits are made by Epsom.
