BOARD OF APPEALS AT FAIR GROUNDS NEW OHLEANS. La., November lit!. At a recent meeting of the Business Mens Hacing Association a directors board of appeals was created, with powers to reverse the findings of the stewards if in their judgment such action is warranted. Tin personnel of the board of appeals is made up of A. J. Stalling. H. C. McCleilan, A. H. Letellier, L. N. Ijaig and Charles P.acharacli. Mr. Stallings was elected chairman ami will also serve as an honorary steward during the raciui; at the Fair Grounds. In addition the directors added two new memlters to the official family by the appointment of John Carey as paddock judge anil Doctor Hamlet Moore as veterinary. The Pinkcrton Detective Agency was again ccntracted with to do the track llicing.
