THIRTY LEADING AMERICAN JOCKEYS The present week will close the jockeyship account of 1919 and on next Thursday the riders will embark in a new striving for the honors of 1920. Clifford Robinson is the leader of this year beyond a doubt and as securely lodged in second and third places are T. Murray and L. Fator. These are all who have won a 100 or more races, but with three days to go, Lunsford, who is riding well, should slip over the line before next Thursday. Last year six riders had more than a hundred races won. while seven were similarly fortunate in 1917 and eleven in 191li. M. Buxton, with six winning mounts, was the leader last week, followed by J. Mooney with four, S. Boyle and S. Wida taking three each. The record up to the end of Saturdays racing stands: Jockey. Mts. 1st. 2d. 3d. Unp. P.C.L.W. Robinson.
