Won easily; second and third driving. BIG SMOKE outran the others from the start and drew away in the homestretch to win in u canter. COUNT BORIS -was pulled up at the start and closed a big gap in the first three-eighths after racing wide. UNWISE CHILD ran well, but had to be hard ridden to outstay APPLE JACK. LEGAL finished close un. ;ORESTES was unruly in the early running and jumped on horses heels, went to his knees and lost his rider. WALNUT HALL set a fast pace to the far turn and tired.
