A. H. DIAZ BABY RACERS BEATEN AGAIN Little Pointer Defeats the Cuban Turfmans Entry in Second Juvenile Race at Oriental Park. HAVANA, "aba. January 9. A race for two-year-olds attracted the principal attention of the -pe. tators at Oriental Park today. The Diaz young -stcrs were again given the preference in the wagering and again were followers of that Bjapedai -table doomed to disappointment. Little Pointer, carrying the -ilks of the Jamaica Stable, led home the Diaz entry, finishing a length ahead of Marieusa. which pulled up sore. Fiction, the winner of the first baby race to be run at Oriental Park this year, finished fourth, being outrun all the way by tin-first three. •I. Carmody rode another of his Strang finishes when he landed "uwi-e Child a winner in the Bee-end race. The latter wa- tin pac. maker throughout, but wa- tiring at tin- .-nil. and but for Car modys powerful finish would surely have lo-t. Kay Spences Blonde! was the overwhelming favorite ;n the third race, and finding no opposition worthy of the name won in runaway fashion.
