January 24.— Fort Churchill, the speedy son of the English stallion Honeywood. now standing at Q. W. Wingfields Nevada Slock Farm, is siili unbeaten, scoring his third straight victory at Oriental Park this afternoon in the fourth race, a dash of five and a half furlongs. His success today was accomplished in the same slashing war that marked his two previous victories. He simply ran away from his opponents. For a colt touched in the wind he is a wonder and experts here are agreed that he is one of the fastest horses seen in many a day. Crowded again was Oriental Park this afternoon, even standing room in the grandstand being at a premium. All the boxes were filled and every advantageous point to see the races was occupied when the bugle called the horses to tin? post for the inaugural dash. The tourist colony is now larger than ever before and the newcomers are not long in joining the regulars at Oriental Park. Of the many i lose and thrilling finishes that have been seen at Oriental Park this winter, and there has scarcely been a day there was not one or more. Little Ono was awarded the decision by a neck with Director James a similiar distance ahead of Incinerator, which in turn was but a head in front of Our Maid, a like distance separating the last named from Miss I.a Rue M. Carinodvs energetic riding of First Consul enabled that racer to score a nose victory over Superior in the second, after the latter appeared an eaag winner in the stretch. J. Carmody made it a double for the afternoon when he brought Jollison home a winner in the final race. At the conclusion of the days sport the stewards announced the following ruling: "The license of jockey J. Mclntyre is revoked liecause of foul tactics while riding Fort Churchill in the fourth race." Kay Spenee today made an offer of $."i.000 for the contract on jockey J. Carmody.
