,1 e ,. i. y . n v . ,. e — FUTURE RACING PLANS OF K. SPENCE Kay Speme has arranged to ship the nine horses owned by W. V. Thraves. which he is racing here. back to l.ouisv ill-- March lt . There are eleven of the Thraves horses wintering at Louisville and Speme will start out with a stable of twenty thoroughbreds. The only horse that Speme retains of his own is the old cainpa iguer I lodge. This old fellow has been in winter Quartets with the Thraves horses and if he stands training in the spring will be raced at the Kentucky meetings. Sponce has signed a three year contract with Mr. Thraves and during that time will race no horses of his own. excepting Hodge. He cam.- south with tweait hois.- of his own and will dispone of the entire band before he leave- here. Hi- plans are to race at the Kentucky meeting- and then ship to Empire City, where he has made a number of stake entries, and from there to Saratoga. Speme i- making an effort to purchase the contract that J. F. Dayton hold- on the apprentice F. Hunt, lie offered Dayton X7.IMKI lor the lad. but as yet no transfer ha-- been made.
