The latter worked his way up steadily and finished fastest of all. LOVERS LANE II. set a fast early pace, but tired in the stretch. WAR MASK moved up menacingly in the stretch and took the lead, but could not withstand the winners challenge. NEDDAM set a fast early pace and raced LORD BRIGHTON into defeat, but tired in the closing strides. LORD BRIGHTON tired under his weight. ROYCE ROOLS ran a creditable race.
