TEDDY R. was a forward contender all the way and, closing up steadily in the last eighth, would have won in a few more strides. ALBERT A. gradually improved his position on tiie outside of the leaders and, finishing fast and gamely, outstayed ABADANE in the. final drive. The latter, after close pursuit of ST. ISIDORE, took the lead in the homestretch, but tired in the last sixteenth. NATURAL BRIDGE lacked early speed, but finished with a belated rush. ST. TAILOR MAID set a fast early pace and held on tenaciously to the final eighth, where she began to tire. THUNDERSTORM raced gamely from the start, but could not improve his position when called on. LIOLA, under slight restraint in the early running, took the lead in the stretch, but swerved repeatedly and lost the race by it. ROLLICKING AIRS finished gamely and passed LIBERTY GIRL in the last eighth. The latter set the early pace, but quit. QUEEN BLONDE ran a bad race. Overweights Locust Leaves, 1 pound. .
