Won driving; second and third the same. FURBELOW, away slowly but showing high speed, moved up steadily and outstayed DR.; CARMEN through the. last, eighth. DR. CARMEN also began slowly, but finished fast and gamely. DODGE was close up and going well at the end. REDMON showed much speed and after racing into the lead interfered with FURBELOW in the stretch. PORT LIGHT retired after going a half mile. KOBBLY ran poorly. SWEET LIBERTY quit after setting a fast pace. Scratched 50203 Blushing Beauty, 113; -48007 Basil, 110. COZETTE began fast, showed fine speed in pacctnaking and, holding on gamely in the stretch, outstayed COUNTESS. The latter raced forwardly from the start, responded, well to hard riding and was wearing the winner down steadily. MAYSVILLE, hard, ridden throughout, maintained a forward position and finished well. MARY G. closed a gap in the stretch. MARJORIE McKAY began slowly and was outrun throughout.
