CONINE set a fast pace from the start, but tired in the last eighth. BLACK KNIGHT saved ground when entering the stretch and finished gamely. RUDDLES acted badly at the post and, beginning slowly.- was never prominent. GOLDEN FLINT and ARCHIVE ran green. PADDY DEAR, in close pursuit of the leaders in the early running, was shuffled back on the turn out of the backstretch, but slipped in between the leaders when entering the homestretch and raced into, an easy lead. KEZIAH raced iuto the lead and tired in the last, eighth, but held on gamely and outstayed REGRESO.. The latter,--away slowly, raced wide on all the turns and finished with, a belated rush.
