JEFFERSON LIVINGSTON HORSES SOLD NEW YORK, N. Y., October 2. The entire thoroughbred holdings of Jefferson Livingston were sold in the paddock at Jamaica today. Oriole, the crack two-year-old was bought by John D. Payne for 0,000. It is said that Mr. Payne bought the ,colt for J. K. L. Ross. Major Parke sold for 55,400. He went to F. D. Weir. James Johnson bought Aurum for ,400. Prince of Como was sold for ,800 to the Modo Stable. L. T. Bauer bought Arada for ,500; Ed Peters got Rosccllff for ;900, Starview went o A. L. Aste for ,300. A yearling brown colt by Vulcain Conspiracy was sold to the Modo Stable for ,000. C. A. Apple-gate bought the Jack Atkin Tehera colt for2,100. Other yearlings ranged in price from 00 to ,500. G. D. Widener disposed of the two-year-olds Wise Dove, Tout Or and Silencia at the same sale. Ed Peters took Wise Dove for ,500. Tout Or went to C A. Applegate for ,600 and Silencia to C. It. Brown for 50.
