NO THURSDAY RACING IN ARGENTINE President Irigoven of Argentina has vetoed a hill authorizing the Argentine Jockey Club to continue to hold racing on Thursdays. He held that too many people abandoned their occupations when racing was held on Thursdays and that the Sunday holiday was sufficient.
