SAM REH, well ridden, -moved up Willi a great rush in the stretch and drew away in the . last sixteenth easing up. DISCUSSION was restrained in the early running, but finished resolutely when ridden hard. PORT LIGHT saved much ground on -the stretch turn and just lasted tp hold third place. HONOR MAN came from far back in the last quarter. TALISMAN set the pace for a fast half, then quit as unfit to race. BELLE OF ELIZAUETHTOWN showed much speed to the stretch. The latter showed fine speed in racing into a good lead, but tired slightly near the end. LOUISE WYNNE had to be ridden hard in the last eighth. MISS FONTAINE suffered from interference in the stretcli. MISS PROSPERITY closed a big gap. ROMANCE swerved and tired in the stretch. JJlOUH had a rough race.
