PYX set the earlv pace and, after being passed on the stretch turn, raced into the lead again and won going away. CORMORAN raced into a brief lead and tired, but outstayed EYES OP YOUTH. The latter unseated her rider while going to the post and ran away an eighth before being caught, then lost ground on the stretch turn and tired near the end, but finished gamely. PEGGY C. had no mishaps.
