SPRING MEETING AT SHREVEPORT, LA. LOUISVILLE, Ky., November 11. J. G. Wagnon, trainer of the W. II. Rowe horses, has arrived here from Shreveport, La., where he has been to look over the yearlings he has quartered there. He also made arrangements to ship the eight older horses to New Orleans, where they will be raced next winter. The four horses owned by W. H. Rowe will be shipped to the Crescent City next week. Mr. Wagnon said that arrangements for holding a fifteen-day meeting, which would follow the New Orleans meeting, are going on steadily. The sport will be under the auspices of a business mens association, the latter organization to be the beneficiary in case of any profits. It is proposed to hold six races daily, with parse of 00 the minimum and handicaps of ,000.
