CURRENT NOTES OF THE TURF J. E. Widener recently lost a high-priced yearling by Fayette Pink Rose. King Plaudit has been returned from the farm to George Odom and is in his stable at Belmont Park. The" Schwartz Bros. quarters at Belmont Park have been given up and revert to the Westchester Racing Association. The historic Erdenheim Farm in Pennsylvania was the birthplace of Iroquois, the only American-bred horse to win the famous Epsom Derby. George Odom, it is said, will train a stable next year for a Mr. Muller of Brooklyn, who is -to go a-racing and will gather some horses for Odom. Dr. M. J. Potter, who perished in last Thursdavs fire on West Fifty-seventh street, New York, was the veterinarian of the-Hippodrome and owner of Hcndrie, Rustler, Ross R. and other fair horses. .
