NANCY LEE AND HER STABLEMATES THAT GOOD FILLY RESPONSIBLE FOR OVER HALF OF P. A. CLARKS STABLE EARNINGS FOR 1920 In the matter of money won by his horses, P. A. Clark did not fare as well in the racing of 1920 as he did in that of 1919. But the possession of one really good horse in a racing string will console an owner for many disappointments. In the fleet Broomstick filly Nancy Lee Mr. Clark owned an undeniably good one. Besides a purse race, she won the Demoiselle Stakes at Empire City and the United States Hotel Stakes at Saratoga, and, altogether, comported herself in racing in a way to minister to the pride of any owner. She was quite the star of his stable and, if all goes well with her, may do striking things in the racing campaign of 1921.-- Dunboyne was patched up sutllciently to enable him to win a couple of races, but is miles away from being the Dunboyne which vanquished Sir Barton and Purchase in the Futurity of 1918. Nothing else in the stable was of any great account, although La Rablee and her half-sister, Flambette, won races and much more than their expense accounts. The stable record was: norse.
