PHILANDERER showed the most early speed and held on well in the stretch drive. JOHN ARBOR, away poorly, finished fast and got up in the last stride for third place. JUSTICE GOEBEL was away fast and showed the most early speed, but began tiring in the last eighth. GENERAL was far back for the first three-eighths, but was running fast at the end. AMERICAN ROSE ran well, but tired in the last sixteenth. MISS KRUTER ran a bad race. BANYAN finished well. Scratched 519SU Annie Edgar. 111. HARAEY SMARR was shuttled back soon after the start, but closed a gap and finished with a rush. LADY AAARD tired after closing a big gap from a slow beginning.
