LICENSES FOR J K L ROSS TRAINERS NKW YORK N Y April At a regular meeting of the stewards of the Jockey Club last Thursday at which Messrs F K Sturgis John E Cowdin John Sanford J E Widener and R T AVilson were present the following stewards were appointed for the metropolitan racing season Mr Cowdin for Jamaica Mr Hitchcock for Belmont Park and Saratoga Mr Wilson at Aqueduct and A H Morris at Empire City CityE E C Potter was appointed as assistant to the stewards at the starting post at all the New York tracks tracksA A considerable number of trainers licenses were passed upon of which two were denied those of John E Dorsey and Leon Reeder Among those licensed were Frank M Keller and Louis Tauber to train for J K L Ross
