IlARniE Out April 10 That the Brookdale Stable of thoroughbreds of Messrs Albert and Simon Dyment are going to bo most formidable in the race for the Kings Plate the Canadian Derby and other important Canadian turf fixtures this year now seems assured It is many years since this stable lias sheltered such a handsome looking band of threeyearolds all of which are eligible for the Kings Plate to be run at the Ontario Jockey Clubs spring meeting at Woodbine Park just six weeks lience lienceFive Five colts and two fillies comprise the threeyear old division and thanks to having wintered in ex ¬ cellent style they nru now well advanced in their training in preparation for the coming seasons campaign Favored by the open winter the track at tin farm has been in good condition for work ¬ ing over for some time As a result some members of the band have already worked threequarters in 120 and with three weeks training yet at the farm only the finishing touches remain after the arrival of the stable at the Ontario Jockey Clubs course courseThe The Kings Plate candidates with their breeding follows followsHerendesy Herendesy DependsResarf br c 3 by Heresy Depends Resarf b c 3 by credentials When he went into winter quarters last fall he had three victories to his credit and was never unplaced out of twelve starts His last success came at the Woodbine fall meeting when he defeated all the best of the Canadianbred twoyearolds then in training llerendesy trainingllerendesy greatly resembles his sire Heresj which won the Kings Plate of 1912 and the last IJarrie representative to earn this distinction lie is a much larger colt than bis sire however stand ¬ ing almost 10 hands and is a grandlooking individ ¬ ual Although lie has never taken a lame step Herendesy raced on a suspiciouslooking pair of ankles last year which have greatly reduced in size during the winter He is now considered the star of the string I IIn In Resarf the stable has another excellent Kings Plater He is a halfbrother to Lady Curzon and a likelylookiiig sou of Tippecanoe Like the lat ¬ ter he does not carry as much flesh as llerendesy but ho is a ruggedlooking specimen a strapping big colt and a good looker lookerTo To War Canoe goes the credit of being the largest thoroughbred in the string He stands 102 a big powerfully built and good looking colt incidentally a halfbrother to that frequent winner Crystila woga but he too is a maiden maidenWitii Witii five colts eligible for the Kings Plate it is probable that the fillies Reconnaissance and Fox liaven may be
