THREE FOR ROSS STABLE Sailing B Feylance and Sudor Carry the Com ¬ manders Colors to Victory at Hamilton HAMILTON Ont June 27 Commander J K L Ross supplied three of the winner at the Hamilton Jockey Club course this afternoon when Sailing B accounted for the Tapley Town Purse Feylance took a band of maidens into camp in the opening dash and Sudor took the sixth The victory of Sailing B was one of the easiest scored at the meeting He led his opponents all the way by a wide margin and incidentally chopped a fiftli of a second off the former track record of 145 made by Claymore Parader was the one to place while Planet got up in time to take the small end of the purse The field was dispatched to a good start and Claver was content to race along the first part under restraint Going to the far turn Sailing B shook off Jean Corey and from then on the issue was never in doubt doubtThere There is quite a story in connection with Fey lances victory in the opening dash Henry Mc Daniel while training for Willis Sliarpe Kilmer purchased his sire Assagai from W O Parmer and en one of his European pilgrimages secured his dam St Fey at the Doncaster sales ring She was shipped to this country and the produce Fey ¬ lance was secured by Mr Ross at the Saratoga sales last year There was no more pleased man on the track after the race than Mr McDaniel Feylance showed a creditable performance to win from Clansman ClansmanThe The card which was offered this afternoon was a good one and served to bring well balanced fields to the post in each race raceThe The Dundas Steeplechase Handicap which was second on the program witnessed another triumph for the Canadianbred Bencher He shouldered the imposing burden of ICG pounds and fencing in a bold manner won with something in reserve Transpero was the one to place placeThe The Brookdale Stables Corenzio a lanadianbred son of Tippecanoe Lady Curzon accounted for the Juvenile Plate which was framed for twoyear olds His victory wasan easy one and he was tho shortest priced winner oftheday ofthedayThe The Nugent Stable would have scored a victory with Furbelow in the running in the Valcartier Handicap under claiming conditions had she not sulked and bolted to the outside when victory was assured assuredW W P Fraser of the Ontario Jockey Club and John Madigin of the Niagara Jockey Club jour ¬ neyed over to attend the meeting of thn Canadian Racing Associations and both returned to their homes at the conclusion of the days racing racingFollowing Following the running of the closing race Satur ¬ day E Loh claimed Broom Peddler from H B Holmes for 1900 1900Jack Jack Driscoll arrived from California this morn ¬ ing and conferred with starter Morrissey in refer ¬ ence to racing next winter
