DEVONSHIRE INTERNATIONAL Grey Lag and Black Servant to Meet in 0,000 Opening Day Attraction. WINDSOR, Out., July 29. Featured by the running of the Devonshire International, a dash of a mile and an eighth, for three-year-olds, to which 0,000 is added, the first 1911 summer meeting under the auspices of the Western Racing Association will be opened tomorrow afternoon. A field of six three-year-olds has been named through the entry box. with the Haneocas Stable entry. Grey Lag, shouldering top weight of 12t pounds. E. It. Hradley has named his Kentucky Derby runner-up. Hlack Servant, and he has been allotted 123 pounds. Hygone Days is next in order with 117. Apart from the star attraction the card which is offered is a good one and brings together a well-matched field of horses iu each of the different races. The fourth race of the afternoon, at a mile and a sixteenth, brings together a small but good field, with Thunderclap, Grey Lags traveling companion, picking up 10 pounds. Turf followers and patrons iu general will be surprised when they first see the reconstructed plant. Improvements that tend to add to the comfort of patrons have been completed on a lavish scale and this morning a small army of men was busily engaged iu cleaning up the final traces and marks of the improvements. The track itself has been worked over with great care and should be in its best condition tomorrow. The reconstructed paddock is a new departure, which offers many features hitherto neglected in the stabling quarters of the racers. Dave Leary, who has charge of the Rancocas starters, wired jockey Earl Sande to be here in the morning. Sande will have the leg up on both Rancocas starters. Clarence Huxton announced today that he would leave for Saratoga at the conclusion here to attend the yearling sales with an idea of picking up a few. Jockey Gantner, under the charge of Hasil Smith, will report to the Huxton stable when they return to Fort Erie. Starter A. H.
